Jacksonian march

Contiguous spread of electrical discharges through superficial cortex occurring with some seizures manifested by spread of muscular jerks to contiguous anatomical areas

    Jefferson fracture

    Burst fracture of the anterior and posterior arches of C1 due to axial loading; typically stable

      Jitter

      Measure of the variability of potentials of two muscle fibres innervated by an individual axon as measured by single fibre electromyography; increased in myasthenia gravis

        Juvenile myoclonic epilepsy (JME)

        Primary generalized epilepsy syndrome usually beginning between ages 5 to 17 years
